Found on Reddit Bass VI page.

Stratocaster VI Bass Project and a Future Project : r/BassVI

It was a project bass, I kinda like this and want to do one.

I just saw a Reverend bass VI prototype today. They’ve already got the Descent baritone, so not a big stretch but I think the scale length is a little longer.

Was that on their site?

I’ll try to find it later.

Nah, I saw it on reverb.

Easy, just buy a sugar sifter and you’re halfway there.

Well, he does call it a ‘cookie burst’

I’m surprised the prototype went that cheap tbh. That’s probably about the MSRP if / when they release it officially.

Looks like someone used a toothbrush instead of an airbrush to do the burst

EBMM CUTLASS - pretty, classy. I like it. not overdone on color mix. Dark (ish). yup, that’s a nice looking bass. Sire U5, not so much. Mayones Jabba Mala 4 Federico Malaman Signature, definitely very nice as well. that might be a contender for my second bass (lol)
thanks for sharing!

this one is mine. 2017 Fender P Bass – my first. july 3rd 2025

An EBMM Cutlass is a beauty that’s rare and superb in every respect. A P bass with a massive pup that delivers tonal range from contemporary to Jamerson/Dunn at a simple twist of the tone knob. It’s no wonder the EBMM Cutlass bass is called the Modern Classic.

Years ago, I searched high and low for a P bass that didn’t have a baseball-bat-chunky Fender neck width and girth. I missed out on buying a limited edition Lakland Duck Dunn Signature (1.5” nut width), but I ultimately lucked out big when I tracked down a super-mint EBMM Cutlass with hard shell case for sale by original owner, in New Zealand.

My Cutlass is a Honey Sunburst finish. I threw out the D’Addario Chrome flats that it came with and put on some TI Jazz Flats. It is absolutely perfect now.

On a few other notes, it seems like you’re my bass doppelgänger, (Although in a slightly different order). :joy:

I started B2B on my Sire U5. Check.

My first premium bass is a Mayones Federico Malaman Signature Mala 4. Check.

After that came my EBMM Cutlass. Check.

Great minds, and all that.

My Cutlass, newly arrived and just unpacked.

Zero scratches or finish cracks, just reflections of lights, bubble wrap, etc. .

Love its subtle Honey burst.
