Show us what you built (other than basses) - music related

I rebuilt a bridge to a nice Bass fishing spot. Does that count?

Are you saying bass ( :fish:) or bass ( :guitar:)?

Beside building up and modding basses I build a place to put them in, lol. It was an easy 3 week project that only took us just under 4 months. It was a piece of cake really, lol.

In all seriousness, I’d do it all over again which I probably have to since my wife have been house shopping. What I want more than a shed is a Pump track, gotta figure out how to build one, lol.

I’ll jump on this one soon once I find all of the pics I took of the 2 basses I built: Turquoise Waters and Poison Apple.

@athosmr2003 There’s a specific tread just for Project basses; this is just stuff that’s bass related I think?

I want to build that but two rooms, a small wood shop in the other room…

That’s exactly what I planned as you can see in the first couple of pictures I have about 5 feet to the next shed. I was going to use that for all my power tools table saw, router table, CNC machine and 3d printer it would have been contained.

“Fortunately”, my wife “suggested” this brilliant idea of building a greenhouse for her succulents.

It was a great idea. Yes honey it was it was, lol.

Nice, but let’s keep this thread to music related builds.

I suppose I could drag down my DIY pedalboard from the attic, but it’s literally just some 1x4s ripped in half with some 1x4s screwed to the top of them for a little raised platform :upside_down_face:

And my old IKEA RAST end table 6U rack was more of an IKEA hack. But as I keep progressing with building, repairing, and modding basses, my itch is growing to do more…

Post them! Ideas (no matter how big or small) might spark another in someone else.

I took apart and reassembled my Fender Rumble 25 so the controls faced up and it became about 30% lighter. I didn’t click a pick before starting so the orig config is from the `net. Finished version has cloth back on top with the carrying handle (couldn’t find final pic).

The speaker was in a housing of its own, so I removed the rest and attached the electric components to the back of the speaker housing. Put the corner plastic “feet?” back on and they stick out a little. Turned out to be way simpler than I thought it would be. It’s used for bass and digital piano for when the six-stringers come over with their acoustics.

It counts if you serenade the fish.:slightly_smiling_face:

I think he was listening to Cat Scratch Fever while he built his cat scratch posts…. so it counts! :woman_shrugging:t3:

I built a lot of music related things

here are just two amps I still own, for example.

This one is a 5w class A full tube amp, it’s some kind of missing link between the Fender Tweed-era Champ/Princeton and the Blackface-era same amps. It’s close to a Blackface Champ but with a Browface tonestack and a few options :

This one is a 10w solid state amp built in a Jack Daniel’s metal box :

Both your creations are very impressive Terb

My Bass Rig…
An Acoustic Image Clarus head drives the 4x6" main combo and sometimes I add the 12" DSP ICE powered sub for extra volume.
