That’s a good price, @BassFaceDisgrace . . . 50% less than list . . .
Check the fine print to make sure it is returnable in case it is defective!
Cheers, Joe

That’s an awesome find if it’s in good shape and everything works.
@BassFaceDisgrace are there any SWR Workman 12’s or Workman 15”s, or SWR BlackBeauty’s in your area’. Have you used the Let Go or Offer Up Apps at all?
SWR is no longer made, but they have a great tone and features. A pretty distinct sound that is awesome.
I got my Workman 15 for $100, and was lucky to get the matching 4x10 cab for another $100, tho I may only use it with my new $20 GK head instead of combining with the combo amp, but not sure yet, the cab is in storage right now.
Just a thought, if you get a chance to go play one, may be worth hearing it before you make a decision.
I actually had my eye on one at a local guitar pawn shop. I played it against fenders, ampegs, acoustics, kustoms, Peavey and a couple others, and it really stood out. It was $150 there, and I was lucky to find it for $100, and already knew it was an amp I really wanted. I have seen the Workman 12 for around $125, and the black beauty 15for$200. They all have a 1” tweeter.
Just some food for thought
I’ve been on all the apps and haven’t come across any of those.
I just picked up the Fender Rumble 100 off LetGo for $150. Guy bought it last year and hasn’t used it much at all (said his wrist has been messed up since not long after he bought it and he can’t play anymore). Just got it home and this thing rocks. I really like that it has the gain and built in overdrive. The 4 band EQ is nice too. It is nice to feel the thump right in my own chest from how hard this thing hits… not something my 8" Ampeg could do. I might like the Ampeg clean tone just a hair better, but in terms of features this thing blows it away!
Awesome, congrats.
I did not side by side compare the SWR WorkingMan 15 to a fender Rumble 100, just a Rumble 40 I believe. And some fender Bassman (I think that’s what they are called) but not such a fair comparison because the WM 15 is 160w at 4ohms in the combo, and the others I tried were 40, 50 80 and 100 watt, various speaker size, but none above 12”.
So there is that aspect I take into consideration as to why I favored the SWR WM too.
All things said, I love it, as I am sure you love that Rumble 100, and if I had a rumble 100, I am sure I would love it as well, cuz I have never heard a bad review. I just have never heard myself play thru one.
Congrats on the 100, @BassFaceDisgrace . . .
Glad you got it and that it’s working out for you!
Cheers, Joe
Congrats on your great find. That is an awesome amp and you got it for a steal!
Since this thread is supposed to be about showing our amps and I side tracked it a bit, here they are…
My old Ampeg BA-108. Solid little starter practice amp. 25W, 8" speaker. I probably would like it much better with a larger speaker to give it that extra umph, but I was looking to get started for cheap and this amp suited that well.(upload://jgfaEZDrLcnz9ByWGfFxWYR3gIN.jpeg)
And I got this yesterday to add to my collection.
Orange Crush 20B
Love the sound. A 20w. 1x8 sure loses something when you have been playing on a 160w 1x15, but the convenience of it can’t be beat, and it has an awesome sound to it. Well worth the $40 and the hour drive, round trip, to get it.
I did a thing…
The aux in and headphone out are stellar. This may not seem like a big deal but, for my ears, none of the headphone outs from other amp manufacturers were nearly as good. Since I usually practice in an apartment, this was pretty important to me.
I’ve been waiting to do this for a long time. I’m so glad I was finally able to do it.
Nice.
How awesome, that’s great @eric.kiser. Cool you waited, did your homework and got what you needed, with the sound quality and power that was important to you. Plus, that could be all you ever need, and if/when you need more, please leave me 2 tickets at “will call” to your sold out stadium rock concert.
Good stuff, I am sure you are excited and feel a sense of accomplishment.
What will your GAS Ghoul be focusing on next???
@JerryP Thank you!
@T_dub I can’t imagine ever needing this much power. If they had one in the 300-500 watt range, I would have been perfectly happy with that. I almost got a Rumble 500 head (used, since they’re discontinued) but it was pretty beat up. Even that would have been overkill. It ended up being the perfect combination of features and portability for me.
Next up will be overdrive/distortion/fuzz.
Oh cool! What headphones do you like?
Nice, any ones you are looking at in particular?
Good for you, @eric.kiser . . .
Wishing you great luck with it . . . and happy anticipation while you shop around for speaker cabinets, too!
Part of the fun is thinking about what you’d like to get next . . .
Cheers, Joe
@DaveT I haven’t been wowed by any so far. I ordered two different sets of Audio Technica (M30x and M50x) but I didn’t like either of them any better than my Bose earbuds.
I’ve heard great things about these… In Ear Monitors. I’m going to give them a try next.
@T_dub Not yet. I’ve been doing a lot of research but haven’t decided on anything yet. Dirt pedals can get this annoying fizziness that I don’t like.
@Jazzbass19 Thanks, Joe! I’m really hoping I can find a used 15 near by.
that will move some air for sure
Wow, that looks powerful. I like the Hartley, the head and cab that came with my Schecter were just too much for me, so I sold the head, and am selling the Cab tomorrow. I would have liked to keep it, but it’s just too big and too loud for my living arrangement. Besides, selling the head for $100 and speaker for $275 makes my awesome Schecter 5 string, hard case, set of strings, and leather strap only cost me $25.
Yours looks awesome, have fun pissing off the neighbors.
