If you are aiming at my drive pedal - I wanted to make a bit of language joke with my (by EWR) handmade clone of the Fulldrive pedal, as bass (assuming German language that I somehow speak but definitely not my native) can be spelled as baß and in Hungarian (that is my native language) ba..ni (here dotted part would be sz that is pronounced as ß or ss) would mean f.ck. Therefore my f.ckdrive pedal… Explained it’s not that funny, but whatever 
Actually my first such naming was applied on the headstock of my DIY-Precision where I directly translated “precision” to Hungarian (precíziós) and baß is just … Se above

Well a little update - yesterday had my first test run of the brand new Barefaced Two10S + The Little Brick, using my 2002 Aerodyne directly connected (so no pedals, no preamp, no amp sim no nothing just a 6m long Fender instrument cable, strings are 4 weeks old EXL220 light gauge 40-95 set).
Surprisingly lots of lows (I mean really), extremely powerful (couldn’t go past 4-5 volume with cab set to 4 Ohms and was too much for the 2x 412 guitar cabs

Will need more time to play around, I miss a bit of mid-highs, probably the SansAmp BDDI v2 will take care of it but wanted to listen to the pure sound of the amp/cab.
Also expecting a bit of “opening up” sound wise after a few hours of usage, all speakers require a bit of “break in”…

Yup. When I was breaking in my GR Bass combo and speaker cab, between practice sessions, I hooked up my phone to it via the AUX channel and streamed some bass-heavy tunes through it.
I’m fortunate that the neighbors I share a common wall with spend most of their time at their primary residence in Paris.

- What was the impact (effect) of the break-in? More lows or mids or highs, more flat response etc?

I did the same thing with my Rumble Studio 40. That took a few days. Since GR Bass combos and cabs are so clean and uncolored, it’s a little more difficult to tell. Plus, I’ve never been able to really crank the volume, so it’s possible that the first time I do, it may still sound a little tight. But the custom Jensen/SICA 12" drivers (one in the AT Cube 500 combo and one in the AT Cube 112 cab) sounded great right off the hop.
To your question, I’d say more accurate for the Rumble’s naturally scooped mids and less tight/compressed (more open) for the GR Bass.

You can download bass/subwoofer break in audio tracks. I’ve built home theater subs and it was common to break them in for several hours. One caveat is it was the bare driver not yet mounted so there was no significant noise.

Sounds good - but I can only run my 500W bass cab with my 500W amp on like 0.1/10 level and only during daytime at home; but sure if emitting low volume break-in sounds will actually do the job. Will it?

Should not be a problem. Even what we were doing wasn’t a 100% proven necessity. Mostly anecdotal.

Check out the last video on the product page, the one with the Quilter 202. Quilters are supposed to be one of the better ‘tube emulation’ solid state guitar amps, but you can clearly hear what the Valve adds to the sound. It’s also supposed to be more bass oriented frequency. Not sure whether the pre 2025’s can run on 12v, but the latter can, and also has both a level and a drive knob.

I am a huge fan of tube preamps. I really loved my EBS ValveDrive, especially after I put a JJ 5751 in it.

Once again I am blaming you!
You said EBS Valve Drive one too many times, and so I bought one. Open box mint for $279 delivered! All original bits and box less power supply (which I don’t care about since I have a bunch of 1Spots in a drawer). Tell me what this alt tube does to sound?

The JJ 5751 is a low gain, balanced tube with clean headroom. I’ve got a Sushibox dual tube preamp with 12AX7 tubes in it. That’s a higher gain, push them to overdrive type of tube. It’s probably more what you think when you’re talking about overdriving tube amps.

Make no mistake, the 5751 overdrives really nicely too! Just with more headroom.
12ax7 is fine, especially to start,
Congrats on getting one, it’s my favorite bass preamp. Just be aware it’s got a very similar tonestack to Fender, so very scooped until you adjust the EQ.

My Warwick gnome I pro v2 300 watt head. Cab is a Warwick gnome 1x10 8 ohm. I get about 180 watts from the head at 8 ohm but I don’t need that much so it never really gets cranked. It’s quite loud so i have to straighten out all the wall hangings that are crooked after I play lol. I plan on adding a second cab at some point but this is honestly more than I need at home. I’ve got no one to play with so I really don’t play out.
