Crazy times. Good luck getting home soon.

Ouch! Good luck. There’s people in the same situation living here in Japan too - went back to visit the US, got stuck there.

It’s the 20W one
My only complaint so far is that the power cable is reeeeally short and that neglects the portability a bit.

Ahh! Hah.

This is the one I almost bought:

300W detachable amp head on a tiny 10" speaker cab that actually sounds quite good.

Detachable head is only on the Japanese domestic model, unfortunately. Ibanez’s export models are not detachable.

I’d have loved that one but it wasnt available and also a bit too pricey for me. Maybe the next upgrade  Now to find out if e-string ringing is coming from the new amp or the bass :frowning: heading to gear forum

Cool. I had heard good things about them and liked the one I tried. Very transparent amp, added almost no tone coloring at all, kind of like a TC.

Very nice! How do you like it? I’m curious because the 70s J basses have thicker necks, the bridge pickup is closer to the bridge which provides a toothier treble, and because I am fighting the urge to buy one :weary:

Just got a gorgeous Fender Jazz Ultra V bass. This thing is a work of art! I had to do it right with some proper photos! !

Hi everyone, I’m new here and to Bass in general. Here is my first Bass!! A Sterling by Music Man SUB Stingray. I think she is beautiful and hope to learn a lot with her.

Thank you @T_dub!

She is beautiful! I almost chose that color as well, but I really took to the black.

Did you find yours difficult to set up?

Thank you @TNKA36
I’m excited to learn as overwhelmed as I feel now, I know it will get better.

No actually, mine set up really easy. But with any new bass, the strings and everything needs to break in, so you may need to adjust it periodically as you go for the first month. It might take more, but it will lessen and settle in right.

the reason it takes a while for me, is because I go for SUPER LOW Action, so I will find as it settles and the strings stretch, that I need to raise a little here and there as some fret buzz starts to set in. but after it settles, it is great.

And I lied.

I have this too
Another Stingray Sub Series Ray4, but this is the HH

And this

Which is my real price, it is a Stingray Ray34. It is the top line for Sterling, just under being a real Earnie Ball Music Man Stingray

The double-'buck is almost assuredly the one I would want, how have you ended up liking it compared to the single pickup ones?

And now I just showed you what we refer to as MBS
Multiple Bass Syndrome. Most of us get it, some are sicker then others. I am really sick. lol

I have been trying to get an offer accepted for this, which is an 8 year old, brand new “B” stock (meaning floor model). Hoping for it to go thru.

And if that doesn’t go thru, I will be looking for a deal on this one

But my ultimate goal is this Earnie Ball Music Man, those others are all Sterlings. and Orange is a thing with me.
