Cool!
What made you decide to build a speaker cab?
Sounds fun!
Nice Prof Honeydew too! I made a 2’ tall “Golden Beaker” trophy for a safety award at work.

The Professor was a part of my Halloween costume for a contest I entered a few years back. Made the top 10 out of 300 entries and walked away with $75 cash (which covered the cost of making the costume btw. lol.)
Beaker!
I have a Cort B4 plus too…also my first bass. I was scrolling here in the gear section and wondering if there were any Corts here
Nice one coffa
Great looking gear @John_E & @Wombat-metal !
Hi
Just introduced myself so it’s maybe a good idea to show my bass.
It’s my first ever one and I’m very happy with it. We still need to get used to each other, but the path to glory ( fun ) will be rewarding I hope. It’s a Cort B4plus open pore with lots of mysterious wood pieces bolted together
Today I added a set of Schaller S-Locks for my thick strap and a clip-on tuner by Cherub, which works fine.
Very nice!
Oh, that´s a really nice looking bass!
Classic. Nice bass
Nice bass, love the finish. Schaller Locks is a good choice ![]()
A small thing, but big difference! Way more comfortable to switch between standing up and sitting down…and very secure. And it looks cool too.

They are the best strap locks I have tried.
Found a negartive on my new Stream, the 2014 model with the 3+1 headstock. I have a little fret buzz and went to adjust the trus; I have to remove the E string to access the screw for the truss cover. My newer 204 is 2+2, but the screw is accessable.
Oh well, live and learn
Can you just leave that screw off?
First I will loosen the screw, and see if I can pivot the truss cover out of the way, like I can on Misa (my black stream).
If not, I will remove the screw and store the cover.
The bass looks batter with the pickguard off, except the screw holes. I am thinking of replacing the pickguard to an ivory or something similar.
I usually just leave headstock truss rod covers off.
Nice head unit @Kevins-a-frettin ,
I run the same one👍
Cheers Brian
I would have to clean out and finish the hole; it’s an eyesore. But I was able to get the truss cover to pivot without taking it off. All setup now, and I think I’m in love. Again.
Seriously love the neck, beautiful finish.
Clear pickguard. That’s the ticket.
