For a second there I thought that it was the Cutlass the Pickguard looks very similar, I love the idea of the 2 piece pickguard.

Why are German call some model California but not have them readily available in California? Like the VW California EuroVan I want one but none is available in California or US for that matter, lol.

I had a California II VS4. It is a very nice updated design on a Fender P bass.

I will have to completely disagree with you. If I’d seen that a month ago, before the new fridge and furnace parts, I would’ve grabbed. It’s goooooold!!
