Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

Let’s see if I can get this to look right. I am doing the bass lessons, but I’ve been playing trying to learn for a little while now. I have a talent for woodworking also. This bass is my first attempt at building a bass. I built the neck and the body on this one. All the others I built I used Warmoth necks on. Necks are a bit more challenging, and Warmoth makes some real good ones. The finish on this one is not that great, so it is my Frankenstein bass. I use it to experiment with. I’ve already had 3 bridges on it. It plays real nice. Seymour Duncan pickups, EMG pots and wiring kit. Hipshot bridge, Graph Tech Ratio machine head tuners. This one has no electronics in it, just passive sound. Neck is curly maple, body is mahogany, finish is lacquer. Finish not that great on it cause I could not get it to dry well enough, so I did not use lacquer on any others.
