Oops! Famous last words… ![]()
Looks just like mine! I swapped out my pickups for Steve Harris Pickups. This color is one of those colors that are hard to photograph!
Yay! Congrats.
Thanks - you helped a lot (even when I had to ignore your advise sometimes ^^)
I feel like I became 15 years older by this whole selection procedure during the last few months.
Now it’s modding time: Should I shoot my new bass? (Modding the Harley Benton MV-4MSB)
Nice Rattata bass
Nice! Plus it has “play faster” stripes!
Finally saved up enough greenbacks to purchase my new amp!
Venture V3 300 watt with a VB-112 cabinet.
Time to annoy the neighbors!
Ha ha. Get it, Jerry. A nice amp for a good musician. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks Jacob.
Excellent! Congrats!!!
Very nice! I’ve been obsessively researching these since they came out. There are surprisingly very few reviews out there. I figured there would be a ton considering it was such a big launch. Hope you enjoy, they sound killer!
Thanks @John_E and @Wes ! I’ll try to write a review after spending some time with it. One thing I can say, the mounting screws for the logo plate are asymmetrical. I wanted to rotate the plate for a vertical placement, and the screws did not line up. So I left it for now.
Look forward to it. I wondered the same about the logo plate. I was looking at the vb210 and planned on orienting it vertically. Not a deal breaker, but good to know. They mentioned at launch there would be different grills available, one to mimic the classic SVT look, but haven’t seen mention of them since. I’d be afraid to ask the price if they’re charging $100 for the little amp carry bag…
It’s fun when you can “ring” stuff on other buildings with bass resonance.
Oh, lovely !!! I think that the Venture series is a true comeback of that classic Ampeg tone. Great choice in my opinion.
Thank you Laurent. So far it sounds great.
Congratulations Jerry!
That’s a sweet rig!
