nice. obviously you’re in a country band
I did a lot of research as I wanted to find a bass that was small and light. I ended up finding a 2009 Warwick $$ Corvette LTD that only weighs 7.2 lbs and feels wonderful! I am really (really) enjoying learning on this bass!
Oh that one might sound beautiful!
Waiting on a cover
lol, I just started Josh’s lessons last week
I do love the way it sounds and feels!!
Hey… I’m in M10L5 and I haven’t posted anything yet… so you have time!
7.2 lbs. that’s ridiculously light for a $$.
I have a master built 4 string and a limited run 5 string. (Fret Nation exclusivel)
Dude. @Al1885, you make me laugh. One of these days we’re gonna see something like, “here is my new bass, custom made from petrified wood found on Mars and brought back to the Earth… pickups were wound in a pressure resistant sub in the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, and the strings are made of pure de-radiated uranium.”
To which you will reply, “oh, that’s so rad, I have two of those!”
(Spoken fully tongue-in-cheek, out of bass-brother love and a wee bit o’ jealousy, and not meant as any sort of insult or the like.)
Whew!! I thought you were gonna say something like “oh! I don’t own that one” yet ,
Masterbuilt Warwick? For sure!
Any1 wants to dox @Al1885 ? I need a few basses in my collection.
You could walk away with a dozen and a half and @Al1885 wouldn’t know they were gone ‘til he fired up his spreadsheet.
Quality over quantity!
Oh, the quality is there! Quantity is where the tons o’ fun happens.
Al will still win
Dozen and a half? I’d definitely know within a few days.
within a few days.
It’s sad, I spent a few days transcribing Josh’s song and almost a week inputting it in GP8 so looking forward to start practicing it this weekend.
Then yesterday I sliced of a tip of my thumb on a mandolin. Ouch!
This song. It’s the bass version of a tongue twister
Oh hey and this arrived
Wow, your basses are gorgeous!!
Ouch! Damn, man, I’m so sorry.
The instrument of digital destruction was a mandoline:
Not a mandolin:
Unfortunately, I know a hell of a lot more about cutting off fingertips than anyone should.
Heal up soon, brother.
