Why would you need dots? You have ears!

That would be fun. You can start with this 2

sooo goood!! Thanks!
Thanks. I intentionally spiked my hair for that cover ![]()
Then you’d probably like the Jaco inspired cover.
I could listen to that ALL DAY… so soothing!! ![]()
Beautiful playing, Al!
(A bit too much fuzz perhaps!?!
)

I have questions… ![]()
What is your favorite and why?
@Al1885, you make it look so easy. Great playing. Thanks for sharing.
Right now, the Parker - It’s so COMFORTABLE. It’s only 7 pounds, and about the only sound you can’t get out of it is the infamous Rickenbacker Rumble (though the deep growl the Parker can produce is a sound all its own).
No, it was a mess up on my part. It clipped. I was using my old iPad Pro to do this and even though I have space, iMovie said I don’t have enough so after uploading I had to delete the original in order to work on the video. I didn’t want to re-record the whole thing again. ![]()
Joey’s reference “friends”
I’ve always wanted to get another bass guitar so I can put stickers all over it. I don’t want to put anymore stickers on my Ibanez and Squire because I love their basic colors and want to leave them as they are. Over Black Friday weekend, I went to Guitar Center and found a basic cheap white Jackson bass. I played it, and it played nice! Sounded great too. Since it’s was a basic flat, white color I figured it would be good for stickers. GC gave me a good discount off of it and I bought it.
Finally finished putting all the stickers on it that I want. Sure it might look like a mess to some but it looks good too me.
I love this bass! It plays great and sounds great too! I’m really surprised that it’s this good. ![]()
Speaking of stickering your bass, within a day or two of getting mine I was thinking “what stickers do I have that I can put on it?”
Then I decided I should actually learn how to play it before “defacing” it. So that’s something that is potentially a reward to myself for when I finish B2B…
Good plan. ![]()
It’s also the cheaper of my two possible self-rewards. The other being…a second bass…
Hmmm, I see only one answer… Finish the course then get another bass.
Stickers are NBD, but another bass is inspirational.
One to look at while playing the other is cool, also your next bass may need to sound much different than your present one and to figure out what your next bass should sound like requires more practice with the one you now play.
Hammer out the course then get a bass you really like as an inspirational reward, a bass so great that a sticker will never ever be put on it…
Its amazing how an inexpensive bass can sometimes sound so good.
Even our number one guy Josh plays a Squire.
Josh playing a Squire gave me inspiration to buy a new neck for my old Squire P bass and now I play it as much as my Fender Geddy J bass.
The 20 plus year old Squire sounds like an excellent p bass, a blindfolded test would be hard to tell it from a high end expensive p bass and sometimes certain songs just need a p bass.
Is that a Jackson JS2P Spectra? I have the same bass, ( Blue Burst ) !
Super affordable, set up decent, active / passive circuits… not a bad bass on the cheap ![]()
That is tastefully done.
Great customisation !!!
Its about the best sticker job I’ve seen, and it may just make that bass look better. ![]()
I was really not wanting to get a new bass until I can properly learn to play the ones I have. Being I was able to get the bass with a good discount on Black Friday helped persuade me to get it (and BONUS… it plays great and sounds good).
