Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

Btw what do you think what is P and what is yammy on neck pup.
I recorded A-B, A-B, A-B. One obviously has much “deader” strings.
And excuse my awful playing on this recording

I would not be disappointed to see that on the stand at home. Congrats on a killer 5!!

Yeah, I’ll give it some time, for others to join in too.

I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this one.
Can’t believe it was sold for ~250$ used some time ago.
Dont know what it was priced new, I guess it was entry or mid tier bass, but it doesn’t look or play like one.

After I got it, put all of my Fenders on sale. Even one with CS pups.
This one and Ray are enough for now.

That makes it really hard

Now regarding poll.

Which one is Precision Bass?
Answer is: B

Seems Yammy actually fooled some of you.
One could say it does P well?

Wow, it was actually punchier than the P. Fooled me.

That’s a beauty!

I almost bought that bass at the GC where I work. I went with the Classic Vibe 70’s instead.

I’m about to do a copper shielding job myself.

Congratulations!

Agreed. They look so sleek. I played around with the white version of this one at work. I thought the pick up could always be upgraded, but still so good!

I think the strings fooled you - they were punchier for sure!

Agree.
I’ve upgraded every Aerodyne pickup except for the special DiMarzio edition ones on one of mine.

Ooh, I bet that one sounds real nice.

Its called a DiMarzio Heavy Drive pickup and I have them on a J-J config.
They are HOT HOT HOT but really fun.
These models were from the mid 2000s.

Here’s a picture of my basses. My generic Pbass is a Rogue SX100B. I’ve installed a push pull volume pot with a tone potentiometer, and installed neon orange strings. The all red bass is my made in Japan 1974 Harmony H906 medium scale bass. I’ve don’t have a picture of my 5 string bass. I uploaded 2 pictures of my Generic Pbass.

Rogue hits far above its weight and the Hammy is yummy!

I am in love with all my Rogue bass. The first Rogue bass was a series 3 fretless. Which I bought new from Guitar Center back in 2021. My 5 string Rogue was basically identical to my fretless. Except for the “B” string. I traded my Pyle 4 string. Then my Generic Pbass I paid $30 for. I had to sell my fretless a year later. My 5 string and generic Pbass plus my Japanese Harmony short scale bass. I’ve taught myself to rewire the electronics on basses and guitars. That being said I have completely rewired all 3 basses multiple times.

This is my fretless and my 5 string Rogue basses.
