Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

Loved Enigma. They always reminded me of some of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber’s side projects, like Delerium.

This is one of the things I always loved about Nettwerk, how the bands always worked together. So when the two guys from Front Line Assembly needed some vocals for their ethereal ambient trance side project, it was natural to think “hey, let’s ask Sarah McLachlan.”

See? now that’s a nice base-10 unit to subtract. Yay metric :fist:

Well, I am Canadian, so I divided by half first (Imperial) and then subtracted 50 (metric). After all, why wouldn’t one measure distance in kilometers and one’s own height in feet and inches? Logic, that is.

Oh hey now…I LOVE that orange bass. I can be sold pretty much anything if it comes in orange.

This is my BTB banger. Only brand new bass I’ve ever purchased and no regrets!

Picked up this little gem today. Along with a Rumble 40 and a few extras. My first bass.

Great choice. This is what I started on, modded/upgraded it like crazy (great platform for this, but great as is for sure) and it is to this day one of my faves to play. Enjoy it!

Turns out there are quite a few banjo guys in here. Sweet!

Question: What do guitarists call it when you throw a banjo into a dumpster without hitting a side?

Answer: Perfect pitch.

Hello; Thought I’d share my basses here, since my wife looks at me with a blank stare when I tell her all about them. My p bass and Spectors.

Sweet!
And with taste like that… those tele’s and semi-hollows are probably sweet too. There’s a thread here for them as well.. Welcome Dave!

Thanks. I had no idea. I thought it was only bass here but I haven’t made it around to all the other topic things. They are Gretsch 6120’s, Jets and the teles, 69 and 71 Japanese RI, btw. Have been mostly a guitarist all my life but I had a hand injury and back bending my fingers on the jazzier chords is still painful. The bass oddly enough is more finger friendly for me.

I rest my case about good taste. Lol. Injuries aren’t fun but glad you found bass!
