Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

Thanks. Now played that about two weeks, and i love it. Thats Rumble LT25, at the moment it´s enough for my need´s, compact size and loud enough for my bedroom playing.

I feel like I should post this in a GAS thread because I’ve been looking at the bongo (coveting more accurate) since it was announced at NAMM early this year.

But I’m cutting me some slack as I made almost 2 years, since starting B2B, with my trusty Squier. (I did modify the Squier with flat wounds I love). So far I love the Bongo… sounds wonderful and feels great. Taking a little getting used to the extra string and shape. Makes playing Feel Good Inc fun

Oh that is so cool. I have Bongo envy.

So, um, I did a thing:

The layering in the body is pretty cool I thought.

A really lovely bass and one of my least favourite expressions. I guess I’m not ‘down with the kids’

Oh I’m very much past kid stage but definitely not past saying something silly.

For sure, thanks. I tossed up between the bright red and the tabacco burst but then I came around to this. Indigo Blue but it’s green to my eyes.

That green is beautiful. I got my 734 last December from my wife for xmas in that red color that looks somwhat like Peter Hook’s BBPH.

It’s such as nice bass to play, that neck is so smooth. Tbh, I’m kinda glad to see you went with the 4 stringer for that. You’ve got the 605 already to handle the low stuff, and I think the TRBX sounds better with that preamp (the 734/5 and 604/5 have the same preamp) + B string.

I was not aware of this and I owned both

I’m trying to find my receipt for this. I can’t remember if I read it or someone like Low End Lobster mentioned in her 735 review.

Sweet!

Lobster’s 735 review is hot garbage so I would not anchor on that

All the same I believe this. Both are very clean preamps; however I remember the 604’s having a stronger effect.

The 604 and 504 also have different preamps.

Yeah me too. I stuck with 4-string for the string spacing as well and the 605 covers the low end. I do really dig the red colour but it’s also a bit too close to the 605.
