IMO, I’ve found Lobster’s reviews helpful, not garbage.

Some are. That one is not.

Yeah!

Yeah wait till you own a EBMM Joe Dart II and ā€œheā€ at the time trash it,

I’m a fan of Lobster, though like shorter format Lobster; but she’s human and doesn’t always get it right. No biggie.

Well, I don’t have a Joe Dart and very likely never will, so not a problem. :joy:

But Lobster loved the EBMM Cutlass, so all is good.

She just didn’t like that bass. I think she kind of even eluded to that in her review.Something like ā€œthere’s a lot to like about it, I just don’tā€ kind of vibe. She really disliked the preamp though. A lot.

TruDat! That’s why I forgave her, :joy:

No not really, I think currently it’s

I did a thing

I did a bad thing (no you didn’t, you just bought something with money you legally earned)

after spedning years thinking about buying a bass I walked into my local music store and spent about an hour plucking at tandom basses till i landed on this ibenz. The look of it was really what lead me to buying it! I was racking my head over how much it was at first but now im just enjoying my time getting to learn it!

Ibanez builds nice instruments. What model and color is it?

I feel terrible about that. I really wish I’d chosen different words to say how excited I was with my new bass. I’d said somewhere else that I was holding off on the 734 but I couldn’t let it go. The colour came out so much better than the website images.

You made a great choice - one of this generation’s top tier basses under two grand or so, and a killer color.

You really need to see that color in person- its hard to describe how good it looks and how dynamic it is to lighting, even angle. Like, both of the blue/green BBs in this pic are the same color:

About WHAT? Awesome bass, very nice color. Describe what you did however you want.

I personally haven’t seen the BB’s but I can say that the trbx605 that is called black, shadows a lot to blue undertones, besides playability is the main reason I bought it, it’s absolutely beautiful to me, has to be in the correct lighting though.
