Changed the pickguard to this pearled white. So can confirm that the Fender MIM/MIA from Musiclily fits 100% on the Squier CV 60’s. Played hell trying to find something for this bass. The other option was custom at 100 bucks. Nope. This was 16 from Amazon.

Gee, so we were supposed to believe that the parts weren’t universal, weren’t we? Quick and dirty measurement on my 2014 MIM and my 2025 Squire are close enough to confirm. Doing a different research project found this…

Yeah, usually for Fender pickguards the only distinction is the number of screws (multiple varieties for each) but otherwise they usually work across models.

That’s the same one I bought for my P bass project. When I opened the link it said I purchased it last year! No clue what brand my bass was originally as I couldn’t find any markings, but it fits fine. There are definitely a few layers of protective plastic on it, btw.

It’s amazing! It’s roasted maple, color is “Hot Honey”, lol, only problem I had when I got it home, was I had a guitar strap with Fender strap locks and they were too small!! I had to order Ernie Ball Strap Locks to fit it…I didn’t know they came in different sizes!!!

Funniest thing is, I traded a Fender American P-Bass for it and it’s made in San Luis Obispo, CA, where my ex is from!!! Wish I could boast about it to him now, LOL

My iPhone photos don’t transfer to my MacBook Air laptop so I have to drag them onto a message from “photos”…I’ve tried to figure out how to transfer them to my laptop file but I’ve read they don’t translate…IDK
