Almost put this in bass porn (maybe with a better picture later) but the Aerodyne came in yesterday. I was good and I waited til this morning to open it. It’s so light, neck feels great, love the tone and damn is it pretty
Congratulations @Adampalooza ! It’s beautiful.
i was always into the grey colorway but damn that looks fantastic. that pic makes it look like a darker, richer blue color than what fender has on their site.
I nearly got the gray but I’m glad I went with the blue
Congrats, great looking bass!!!
Bought this a couple of weeks ago, Mayones Jabba 4. Now I understand what @joergkutter and @MikeC are talking about.
Fantastic!!!
Huge congrats on your new custom Mayones and Brubaker, Josh! They are gorgeous.
Really beautiful! Batman approves of your new babies’ color scheme.
I resemble that remark.
Yeah, that bass is a work of art. @AnotherJosh lost his damn mind while first playing it in his office. I’ve never seen a married man want to get home so quick.
I can completely relate. I couldn’t put mine down for hours after unboxing it. It’s been a honeymoon that never ends.
So cool, @AnotherJosh - huge congrats and hours upon hours of fun with it!!
Ditto! Love the colors and the Brubaker is just mean looking @AnotherJosh. What preamp on that Mayones
That’s cool @Adampalooza
Josh can confirm, but I believe it’s a Mayones Musashi-3EQ. If so, it’s the same as the one on my Jabba Mala 4 Signature Federico Malaman. It’s amazing.
I think @joergkutter’s new Jabba HF Signature has the same proprietary Mayones preamp.
Yes, the HF signature has the same 3-band EQ - the knob for the mids is Hadrian’s “secret tone weapon”
In any case, the Jabba is one of the best (active) jazz basses you can get.
