Show Us Your Basses (Part 2)

Beautiful! Love those pickups! I have a HH Bongo, I need a stingray to go with it!

Oh, spot on. It’s utterly impractical, and I don’t have anywhere near the gear to support it. I just think it looks bad-ass as hell, and Nate can play the shit out of it.

Yeah Nate’s great at demoing gear.

Normal tuners: (different orientation for bass/treble side but same tuner) USA UltraliteĀ® Bass Tuning Machine 3/8" – Hipshot Products

The ā€œxtenderā€ that can give you drop D with a lever flick (gold, Y key): USA UltraliteĀ® Bass Xtender 3/8" – Hipshot Products

Stil no knobs I’m absolutely in love with, the ones I have on there cracked so wouldn’t recommend.

My first bass ever. It got stuck in Kansas City for a bit due to a snowstorm, but finally made it home. It’s even more beautiful in person. Now I just need to learn how to play it. Purchased the B2B course, so let the lessons begin! And a big thanks to those in the forums whom helped guide me in my purchase.

Starting to build a little collection. My plan was to buy and try out some midrange versions of popular basses and then splurge on a really nice one once I figured out what I liked. I definitely have my preferences, but these basses are nice enough I may just stick with the midrange and have some variety.

For the P and J style, I went with Sire. I first bought the P5R to replace a Squier vintage series that had to go back due to a pickup that died within the first week. Fell in love with the neck and decided to try them for a J style as well.

I wound up buying the V3 because anything higher in the range has two things I don’t personally like: fretboard binding and block inlays. Just not my style. Anyway here are the Sires:

The new addition to the family is this Warwick Rockbass Streamer LX. I got an incredible deal on it as a b-stock purchase. It’s hard to see, but there’s a little ding near the controls. Doesn’t bother me a bit. In fact, it looks way better in person than it did in the online photos. I’m looking forward to getting to know this one better!

Sweet. Enjoy the adjustability of the bridge system and the nut. I love that about Warwicks. Great bass, the Rockbasses are solid.

Haha, I liked the V3 so much, I ended getting a V8, actually quite like the block inlays
Got bored earlier, laid the black pick guard over the original one, I think I like it even more :joy:

Love block inlays! Two of my fave axes are that way.

My next one is currently being built (fingers firmly crossed) and will have 'em, too.

Big congrats on your Sires. They are seriously quality basses.

While all V models are great, the V8 in particular is a verifiable stone killer. Mine is never more than an arm’s-length away. :+1:

Nice! :ok_hand:
Thought about selling the V3, but I dunno, maybe I could get it set up in a lower tuning :man_shrugging: cheaper just to have it done than buy decent nut files n stuff lol

Congrats, that’s a nice bass! And the black on white looks great!

Likewise  lol

Cracking basses! Never managed to get the action as low on previous ones as these things go!

I was looking at SR600Es a couple weeks ago, and I found am EHB1500 for the same price. Too good a deal to pass on, but the 600 is a gorgeous bass

I bought my first bass!
It’s the Cort GB64JJ and I love the sound and feel. I made a nice picture, because I’m using it as a wallpaper for my phone.
