lol no, its on a black metal riser.
There are some amazing spaces in here!! This is my little corner… it works for now. Thinking an interface is the next pick up, or an upgraded stool (throne is borrowed)
@JesC.FMOS How do you like the pageturner?
@Celticstar it just came in that morning so taking some getting used to - it’s much smaller and lighter than I expected so will stick a board under it to lessen the “bounce”from carpet…
note to self I’m NOT buying a pedal board because the GAS to fill it will be too strong **
I’ve done a quick test with UG, the 50 song page (noteflight?), and a straight pdf with varying results so far
There’s a difference between room and professional studio (and I love how you couldn’t get the sofas out of the way soon enough)
I had dreams of this room as a really cool theater/game room. But every time we watched a movie as a family my wife wanted to watch in the living room. So it has slowly became a music room.
How is it for sound? I have common townhouse walls, and dream of having the house with neighbors far away to play and play with others.
I am very envious of your empty space in the middle and toe-squishy rug!
Ugh same here. I only played my amp once and had my neighbors complaining that the cupboard was moving on itself ![]()
Jamming together with friends in a house is so much fun.
It’s not bad. I’ve jammed with my buddy in a concrete room that was under a garage, so concrete ceiling and walls… that room was very bad.
It is nice to be able to move around with out hitting something with my headstock (which happens in my office all the time.)
Damn! This is so nice. One day I will transform ma dad’s old shed into a studio like this.
Only way I would get something so good is to move back to the US
What kind of accommodation are you settled in in Japan? If it’s not personal matter to you ofc.
Very jealous @Paul_9207 ![]()
We own a condo. About 80 square meters so not tiny but also not a place you can completely rock out.
Well my very first post here - but thinking everyone should see how lite space one need to start up on. When not in use everything is in the gigbag under my sofa, the other sofa is the wifes.
At the moment we have 18 square meters to live on, following a fire. We do hope to get back in the house soon !
The blancket are often used by the cat, so Ill most often not have a hole sofa to practice on - BUT Ill can play ![]()
Nice!
For a little over a year I lived aboard a 10m sloop. I totally get the space thing, it’s amazing how little you need when you get creative ![]()
I feel like that should come with more explanation.
Was in to sailing, had a chance to live the life, took it ![]()
Semi-related, I always wanted a Letter of Marque and Reprisal for Christmas. Is that too much to ask? ![]()
