Hi Folks,
I had finished this little project before i started the course and it went through a few iterations but I thought it might be helpful to others as I have found it quite practical and it doesn’t take up alot of room.

That is so cool. Have you ever considered putting casters on it?
Your basses are gorgeous. I love the picture too, is it a bird in a nest?
Thanks @johnnybarefeet No a Sloth in a hammock - my wife loves Sloths!
Thanks for your input. It might be a bit hard to tell from the pics but it’s already on black castors. It sure makes life easier!
Nice!
Does the amp make the stand rattle / make noise?
No the stock rubber feet and the rubber castors do a surprisingly decent job of isolating it. It rattles everything else in the room and the metal fence outside through a double brick wall if i push the volume, the GK Legacy combos have some serious volume.
I generally practice with headphones and only run the amp for jamming etc.
Same thought - it looks like a medical cart for bass!
With Josh the gas man on tv ….
Sort of rhymes depending where you come from
I kind’a want an inventory of all the kit in that room!! There’s some cool stuff!!
Can verify the Bass Station is an excellent choice for a monosynth.
For a second there I thought his MiniLab was actually a Korg Minilogue too - another excellent choice were it so ![]()
The MiniLab is an excellent little MIDI controller though so good choice there too.
OK @sunDOG ![]()

I really like them. Much cleaner at higher volume than my Fender Rumble 800 (2x10).
They’re expensive for sure but I’m really happy with how clear and punchy I can get them to sound. In our local bar with 200 people in it I’m running at about 50-60% volume and it’s LOUD.
They’re also light (11kg per cab). I can carry both into the gig at once.
There are obviously other great cabs out there (Barefaced, GK etc)
YMMV

Not surprised, Fender uses really meh speakers (low-cost OEM-only Eminences) in their cabs and combo amps. You guys with Rumbles should swap in some new speakers and see how it sounds. Some better Eminences, some nice Celestions, etc.
Any recommendation on what speakers to use? Just curious.

Yeah Eminence actually makes some way better ones, Celestion makes good ones - I would say do some research for the state of the art now and I am sure there’s even better choices. I’ve only done speaker work once and it was years ago. I bet that just like when looking to swap pickups, there’s probably a ton of info and videos online now.
