Just put Schaller locks on the Warwick and drilled the right size hole for them in the leather of strap.
Have them on the Schecter and the 5 string too

As @LeftyChad said, this is definitely a death chicken! But I was more or less inspired by random whims this time. Roosters have always been an animal I have a connection with, and I knew I was going to be using reds to accent the black, so it was a natural fit. The nautical stars and geometric design are there to evoke a punk-meets-tribal-meets-black hole vibe, and I otherwise just plain think they look good, all together.

I had my Levy’s Leather 4.5 inch strap set for the longest length, but it was still too high for me. I was tempted to sell the 2 I have and purchase 2 of their extra long ones, but then discovered that I could buy the extension and convert them.
My bass is in a much more comfortable playing position now. Here’s the before and after…

Is it a generic extension or one from Levy’s for that strap?

It’s from Levys and I bought it on Sweetwater. They say it will work on any of their straps 2.5 inches or wider

This is a Walker & Williams strap I got yesterday. It’s leather with a bit of padding. I tried it out last night and I wish I’d gotten a wider strap - this one is 2.75". I have a lot of stupid neck and back issues so I’m looking for a new home for this one. Free, of course.

I bought the regular size of this and it was too short, but the long fits me great I do love this strap!
