How’s the slap course? I am trying to decide if I should start it now or hold off a bit.
I am going through his sight reading course, which is great, but, kinda dull (only so much you can do to make reading notes interesting) and was thinking I need something a bit spicier at the same time.

I finished slap 1 and working on slap 2. The first half is kinda painful, but necessary to work on hitting on timing ie. playing quarter notes to a click… half way thru u work the pluck and if you have any slap knowledge one can cruise thru the first course. I played slap before, but did as josh described as thumb down, so thru this course I changed to thumb up and it took the whole course to recalibrate. the second course is much more enthralling.
