175 bpm is just rude! But look at my little arms!

Holy crap this is fast!
Gonna take a while to get this consistent at 175bpm.
I can get the first half pretty good then my fingers turn to Jell-o.

I’m currently killing it at 90bpm. We have a looong way to go!

This should be played with a pick, right?

Should be ? - Yes.

Going to be ? - Not in my house.

I can barely keep up with two fingers let alone one pick.

I’ve never played with a pick but thought this speed might hardly be physically possible without. But you sound optimistic and I’ll try to follow your example. :slightly_smiling_face:

I grabbed a pic thinking it would be helpful - it didn’t last long.

@Barney - pick?

In my opinion, finger style is much harder than using a pick and alternate picking. I recorded it finger style.

Hey ho, let’s go!

Don’t mind my broke crooked pinky. It was acting up that day!

Great job! Did you start slower and ramp up or just got for it out of the gate?

I always get excited to see your covers and to see what magical bass you are are going to pull out from back there.

Bass/tone/you - all rocked!

Thank, Brother @John_E . So busy now that I’m back to work. I got 3 bass that haven’t made the party yet, they will make there debut soon :joy:. This 3 weeks in between songs is perfect. I can work on other things. Don’t have too much time to get on forum. I’m so tired when I get back from work. Old man syndrome :joy:.
Cheers :beers:

Thanks! Ha ha that’s funny!

Thanks!

I learn the song slowly without the music or worrying about the speed, then once I have it memorized and under my fingers, I start speeding it up. Once I feel like I’m up to speed (or close), I’ll introduce the backing track at normal speed. After a day or two it doesn’t feel fast anymore and I move on to record it.
