Not my best work this one. I feel comfortable playing the song, but getting every note in time is really tricky. I think it’s because they were all in a room playing together with Brown composing them. And I in my home office am never going to be able to keep up.

Or maybe the stop-start nature of the song just exposes my lack of timing perfection.

But either way, I’m happy enough with where I am right now to post this and move on.

I think you did great. Yeah, being in the same room would probably help, but we do the best we can when we’re jamming with individuals from 60+ years ago.

I think the fact that no one has posted their version in the thread for over 2 years says something. Thanks again for blazing the trail. lol

Overall I thought you did great. Its hard to get those hard runs to sound natural and groovy vs. robotic, but you did very good.

I didn’t notice much of anything of note to improve other than a tiny bit of feel.
