A bit bright but played fantastically!
Thanks John. That was a while ago and I hadn’t really learned to dial in the mixer yet.
Very nice job here @myheadsmt91
Good groove and timing, nice adder of the slides.
Well, I do too ^^
Nice groove and rhythm. Well done !

Great cover, looks easy. Keep you the good work.![]()
Love it @Reo !
fantastic job, great groove.
Not my best work this one. I feel comfortable playing the song, but getting every note in time is really tricky. I think it’s because they were all in a room playing together with Brown composing them. And I in my home office am never going to be able to keep up.
Or maybe the stop-start nature of the song just exposes my lack of timing perfection.
But either way, I’m happy enough with where I am right now to post this and move on.
I think you did great. Yeah, being in the same room would probably help, but we do the best we can when we’re jamming with individuals from 60+ years ago.
I think the fact that no one has posted their version in the thread for over 2 years says something. Thanks again for blazing the trail. lol
Yeah it’s really been a while since anyone else did this one
fantastic tone here!
fits right in.
Overall I thought you did great. Its hard to get those hard runs to sound natural and groovy vs. robotic, but you did very good.
I didn’t notice much of anything of note to improve other than a tiny bit of feel.
