Studio Headphones for Amp 2025

Hi everyone,

I would love some pointers for your fav. wired studio headphones for 2025 that will plug directly into an amp for home practice.

Bonus points if they also work well for an electronic drum kit.

(I did search the forum, but there was nothing current. Sorry I this is not OK).

Audio Technica M50x are kinda neat, particularly with the range of optional lead styles and lengths.

I bought the A70 by OnOdio. Plugs into my Vox, but also plugs into my husband’s amp when he uses his. Also Bluetooth so you can use them to listen to music or talk on the phone.

Practice headphones

It turns out the new neighbors in my apartment complex aren’t crazy about late night jams and practice sessions lol. I would really like to find a set of headphones to use without having to worry about pissing them off more. Im basically looking for something I can practice with that would also have Bluetooth capabilities. I’d love to be able to hear whatever song I’m playing along to as well as hear my bass through the headset - it would be a great to be able to focus on what I’m working on and…

Newbie in Search for Headphones

I recently started with the B2B course, though I noticed, I’m missing headphones I can use for practise, ones I can connect my bass and pc with to hear both. It probably wouldn’t be such a great idea to use an amp at 5am in the morning xD What do I need to look out for if I wanna buy one? I saw some recommendations around here, but I’m unsure which one would really fit for me.

My trusted Sennheiser HD 280 pro is my first choice especially for E-drums. I also use OneOdio which is excellent as well, love the convenient of just one cable that can do 1/4" and 3.5mm just by switching ends.
