Thanks!
Though this is a guitar, I will be building a bass version of this, hopefully in early 2024, This is my favorite body style so far…
Hey, it’s only $5,000!
someone found the Ugly Stick
And there it is!
Ba-dum-TISH
…and this is what it looks like when you drag a bass behind a pickup truck for a few years before using it as a boat anchor.
Hint: All the knobs make it maximally gravity-attractive.
And the biggest knob is the one who built it.
I like it. Lots of options to shape your tone: high treble, low treble, high, medium and low mids… Plus a convenient producer switch!
Tone Steel
from the listing:
Great mid-70’s P-bass. I do love this instrument, but I don’t have much time to play it. While cosmetically this bass shows its years, it plays well and was recently set up at Main Drag Music in Brooklyn. I’ve owned this bass since about 2009, I’ve only used it at home and in the studio. Prior to that I don’t know it’s history and I wasn’t the person that had the mods done. The first 3 knobs are: a master volume for each pick up, and master tone. The last two knobs are not in the chain. The mini toggle is a coil tap for the bridge pick up.
LOL so 2 of the knobs are only there for show? This just got better…and one can own this masterpiece for the low low price of $1825!!
I had missed it also has a MM pickup. I had thought it was just damage.
I think I saw one of those in Toontown.
