I feel sorry for the luthier. Best intentions, personal vision, and all that…but, damn.
Beautiful craftsmanship, gorgeous materials and apparently great execution, but it’s just plain fugly.

It’s a matte finish. Not sure what type. The bridge has an acrylic finish, though. So there’s that.
