Wow! So many great tunes to start my day today. Big thanks to @Wombat-metal @John_E and @terb for taking me on a musical journey this morning. I had not seen any of these TD performances before.
From grungey fuzz, to teenage punksters, then flamenco guitarists, then one hell of a soulful group getting that energy up and finally bringing it back down with a somber folksy duo.

When I was touring with the string band, The Brothers Comatose, we definitely did one of these.
We had been stranded in Evanston, Wyoming due to snow on interstate 80.
We made the most of it by doing some cross country skiing on the golf course, and recording a video in the freezing cold.
It’s from… 2016? 2017? Somewhere in that ballpark.
We did another one in the studio… but we added a desk.
The things people have to do to try and get their band out there.
I won’t be doing a solo one.
I’ll just be reveling in the frigid glory days.

I love the bit where the pianist and Thundercat trade licks! I wasn’t really aware of Mac Miller’s music before seeing this one but it’s definitely in my regular rotation.
I love how he was just kind of over there chilling for the first song. Like “here’s our bud, Thundercat” 
That is one beast of a bass. Big semiacoustic 6-er with two big humbucker-sounding soapbars.
By far this is my favorite tiny desk concert.
