Get better soon, for sure.
Dude.
Get better soon, for sure.
and you answer your damn phone sometime
That’s one big zipper. Take it easy man, you gave great advice on activity, bu don’t push too hard either until ready. Then go all out
Thanks, Howard. That was the left. In 2 weeks when the bandage is removed, I’ll get to see if the right is over or under in staples.
Here’s to a super-fast and fully complete recovery @booker_t . I’m with you in spirit. Actually just got home about 30 minutes ago from getting hip replacement surgery.
All the best, my friend!
The two of us together might be able to walk out and get the mail. Put in the work, and be well
Mighty Power time!
and get well too @autumnsdad1990
Right? . it would be funny for bypsssers
Though i, it’d would think i was funny,! ( because it is )
Al, I’m so glad you started this thread.
Get well @booker_t ! My brother from another mother!
$6 million? why so cheap? lowest bidder?
How much was the chick?
That was $6M 50 years ago. You gotta account for inflation. Booker is the $38,236,308.32 dollar man.
$40 million for a bionic man is a bargain of the millennium. Our military will pay double that in a heart beat today, especially if it comes with the sounds effect
Vicious! Get Better soon!
Take care and get healthy quick @booker_t and @autumnsdad1990 !
That really made me think! I was exteremely active in past days, then I got lazy and always kept saying: “soon I start again”.
But I’m saying this for a long time now…
Anyway: I hope that you’ll make a full recovery or even be like Steve Austin … get better than before!
A friend of mine had both hips replaced … he was a runner and biathlet before … and now he can do everything he could do before again, so there’s always hope!
Glad you are on your road to recovery @booker_t! It will be long… knees always are, but in the middle of everything you shared, I want to reiterate this:
This is very true… last year I had health issues… 2… that could’ve ended badly… and ended up in tons of medication that I still need to take daily… Inflammation started appearing as a side effect. I stupidly sat on my hands and over the course of the last year I have put on nearly 30KG (66lbs), also broke hand in between. I got fed up and in the last month I decided to take control… and slowly started doing 10, 15, 30 min walks, just to get moving. Then bicycle indoors, some chair and body weight exercises. It’s been only a little time since I started “re-moving” and energy has improved, bowel regulating, less belly aching… etc.
So yeah… even if you can’t run a Marathon, just go around walk the corner and back and when you least expect your body will react positively!
Hope you recover quickly Booker! We’re all rooting for you!
Hopefully all is well.
ouch, that hurts just looking at it. get better soon and level up!
