I edit Songsterr a lot, but just wish they would accommodate a 5 string bass as well.

I’ve been hammering out 2112 almost daily for a couple of months to find some huge differences today, they may now be correct but some cross reference is still needed to be sure. Red Barchetta was changed a couple days ago and its better than it was, but its a bummer to find out my last 50 runs at 2112 could have been closer to the truth.
I’m going to get another platform tonight likely UG and see how it compares and if I like it.
So ebxx I was hoping you would be so kind as give your input into 2112 and tell me what you think?

Although I am not familiar with this song, it was updated last month. The bass part seems to me to be reasonably accurate to my ears.
They do. The AI will tab out for 5 string as well.
The mods will just get snarky if you try and add alternate 5 string tab tracks to existing tabs that are popular.

Yeah, click the date at the top under the name where it shows the revision. Then you can look at all the changes, and go back to an earlier one if you prefer.

I’ve just tried it and was not able to bring up the bass tabs but will play around with it and see if I can find them.
Rush is in my top bands I like playing, especially 2112.
Even fast forwarding the non bass sections its around 15 minutes of playing time.
Does anyone else here on the forum dig on playing Rush?

Buddy its doable.
Pick a couple songs that your familiar with the groove, start slow and keep trying…
I’d bet it will be recognizable after a few tries and it just gets better from there on.
50 tries and your happening, 100 tries and you will be acceptable if not proficient.
Once you start playing Rush it may become what you want to play the most often…

For me Songsterr feels better - more intuitive interface and, what’s more important, they have not only tabs but also sheet music.

And the songs linked to the tabs in FULL / backing / solo modes. Songsterr is a one stop shop… ( you can print your tabs too… )
One question is - how accurate are the tabs and notations on Songsterr? Because there can be more than one entry for a song - so how to choos the one that is most accurate?.. Or they all are accurate?
Like any online tab site, some things on Songsterr are super accurate while others are 124% incorrect. And every point in between.
Everything on Songsterrrrrrrr is user sourced or AI generated, so you’re at the mercy of what other people have done.
When there are multiple options, I find the one that seems the most right and use that as a starting point. I will also go to the other versions to figure out if they have bits that seem more accurate than my “main” one.
And after all that, it’s listening to the original recording to see what might still be wrong/missing/extra and modify from there.
And how do you decide, which one is the most right?
It’s mostly a gut feeling. Playing through them you’ll often find that one just doesn’t seem to be matching up. Or one will just end partway through or something.
