I own the Katana Go but haven’t tried the Fender. The GO sounds really good. Like top quality, good. You’ll be happy if you go that route.
Don’t buy the VOX, those things are absolute garbage.

When I got a headphone amp for playing during commercial breaks I actually got a multi effects pedal. They almost all have a headphone out so I’d at least look at what’s available that you might be interested in before committing to just a headphone amp.

What pedal do you like? Does it have its own power source, or does it need to plug into an outlet like an amp? Does it include a tuner function? Can you run audio from your phone into it and play along?
I have time to ponder options, because Sweetwater’s phone system and website have done a Wile E Coyote splat into a cliff.
Ask @sunDOG he’s got an inexpensive multi effects pedal he gigs with that he loves.

Im pretty sure that he uses one of the Hotone Ampero pedals.

Yep, I have a Hotone Ampero. I ‘silent practice’ using it, it acts as an interface for recording, and I’ve also gigged it. It does need mains power. For the money, it’s great.
When I travel, I take a cheap Zoom B1four. Great for silent practice and it’s battery powered. But no interface and I don’t really think it’s robust enough to be stamping in it in a bar band context…
Edit: both are way better than the little Vox plug-in amp thing. I had one of those, it was junk.

My one and only pedal is the Zoom MS60B+. Does all kinds of stuff, is inexpensive. Takes batteries or a basic USB C cable and charger block. Does have a tuner. Not sure about plugging your phone in as I haven’t checked.

The advantage of the ZoomBX1 @Ardea is it’s cheap, runs on AC or batteries and includes an in built tuner and drum machine.
It’s the best value out there

Some of the presets also sound surprisingly good.
I have a darkglass Adam and a pod Express guitar (they also make a bass version). The darkglass requires external power, the pod Express can be either external or battery powered. They both have a tuner, the pod Express is a little chintzy in not showing what the note is. The darkglass I can run audio into, I’m not sure about the pod Express.

As good as those both are I think if it includes a drum machine that’s a huge deal for the beginner bassist
I have 3 different headphone amps, but I stopped using them when I found the Flamma FB200 (for bass) and FG200 (for guitar). Just under $100. Battery powered. You can record from the headphone out. It also has a drum machine and a tuner.
