I love the charge light. Yamahas have this too for the internal 9-volt; the light comes on when you plug in and it’s getting low.
Totally cool and useful feature
But how is its wifi signal?
Non-existent.
it’s quite easy actually : just solder one side directly to the pot case and add a new wire from the other side to the pot leg my cap is a 250v so it’s not extremely tiny.
I was picturing like this tiny SMD cap sitting on top of the pot enclosure
Ahh ok, not tiny at all.
yeah, smaller than a normal polyester 63v cap, but still not so tiny
Just installed a hipshot bass extender to be able to quickly switch between standard and drop D. WOW! This thing rules. I need to get these for my other 4 string basses. Also did a basic fret polish and swapped strings while I was at it
I also love the Hipshot Bass Extender. Have it on every bass, except my fretless!
USB c.
Way cool. My fishman is still a micro usb
Just ordered some more of my favorite fine abrasives for fret and fretboard polishing:
600/3000 grit, total cost for a 15 pack is about $4, will last years, even if my wife steals them for her nails too.
I might have to give this a try. I just cleaned my neck and frets and used blocks of 140, 400, and 1000 grit. The frets look a lot better than they did (got the right color back to em) but they are still a little dull
I use the smaller square version of those sanding pads. If you work up from 1500 to 2500 that seems to give the best shine without using polishing compound. But I’ll take it to 3k if I’m going to do polishing compound. YMMV
Is that the Korg Pitchblack?

For the ones that like a very good tuner in their DAW - this is it:
It’s really great in in terms of usability, and very exact!
