Oh god no @AnotherJosh

Well sale ends today so Fender PV 63 it is. Ordered and hopefully in the way soon
Great choice. When I was evaluating P pups, both PV 63 and Fralins were neck and neck in my book.
I have Fralins going in the 50s P, and couldn’t justify $60 more for Fralins for the 60s P. I could get a bunch of marmite for that
Hopefully not!
Today I received the Gotoh Bridge, Thomastik-Infeld Flats, Gunstreet Wiring Harness
Now I’m waiting on the Bass and Pickups. Bass should be here Monday. C’mon Lindy! I’m dyin here.
Just a standard bridge. Not a fan of the Fender angle steel bridge. And a prewired harness cause I’m really not confident in my soldering skills
My strap locks and knobs should also be here Monday
the act of cutting down a toothpick, spreading glue on it and inserting it takes about an hour because I have to go to the store and buy toothpicks first ![]()

Your problem is not having British teeth like me. Every draw in our house and all the cupboards are full of them ![]()
Finally, a taker. I was starting to feel fringe with this choice.
Nice!
I’m excited today so have to post.
My Lindy Fralin pickups have shipped! Doing the happy dance.
So soon to operate. Pickup, strings, bridge, nut, pots, jack, tuners. She’ll be fabulous
Possibly a stealth string guide if I can get it on
Don’t want to give the impression there’s anything wrong with the Classic Vibe 50s precision, just this is my final bucket list bass and sorta went overboard with mods
Congrats! Have fun.
It sounds like you are keeping the original body
Body is a good foundation. It was what $279 over Labor Day? Pickup is expensive, everything else is reasonable. Got a new set of Fender tuners for $20 for example
Still need to find a pickguard
I thought the black looked better than the tort, maybe @Barney is breaking me down
