Lots of great choices in this thread. I could list so many, but I’ll just mention two great Stevie Wonder albums — Innervisions and Fullfillingness’ First Finale.
Oh totally this @mgoldst - I was so into this back in the late 90s. It took a while to grow on me but whenever I’d had a bad day, I’d put it on and I’d be feeling better by the end
I never really saw the point of Radiohead though. Creep was good but the later stuff got really weird …
Aha this seems to be getting a lot of recommendations - I’ll add it to the playlist …
I’ve heard a lot about this - wasn’t it the one where they were having massive drug problems and bust ups during the recording? It’s meant to be a belter of an album though
Thanks for all the ideas guys - I’ll add them to the list
I actually got thinking about some of my old choices -
Wish you were here - Pink Floyd (like everyone )
The Downward Spiral - NIN
Honey’s Dead - Jesus and Mary chain
Pi (film OST)
Three Ragas - Ravi Shankar
Paris Texas (film OST)
Lift Your Skinny Fists… - Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Autobahn + Trans Europe Express - Kraftwerk
Music for the Jilted Generation - The Prodigy
I think Spotify has killed my interest in listening to full albums.
I tend to stick a play list on whenever I’m doing stuff in the shed rather than bother with individual artists
There are 3 that come to mind immediately
Fleetwood mac -rumours
Bad company -10 from 6
Van halen 2
But this is such a loaded question. There are so many albums that I’ve listened to over the years that were my favorite. To pick one is like saying i picked a favorite kid…
If i made an actual list, it would take longer than this phone will hold a charge. Putting them in order would be a phenomenal task…
This is why the random button on my Amazon music app is worn smooth…
