Listening to Peter Tosh’s Johnny B. Goode while having quick “just got here” lunch in Turks & Caicos
78 years ago they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. Here’s a song of hope about it from a descendant.
“No matter how long the night,
the morning will arrive”
Speaking of Peter Tosh, have you heard his “Reggaemylitis”? Talk about some great bass!
Andrew.
One of my favorite youtube channels for music production in general is Venus Theory. He’s a synth enthusiast and sound designer, and composer in general; lots of A/V scoring work, etc. He also makes his own music, and it’s awesome.
Dig This Bass - Another Catchy Riff By The Setzer Party - Stay Cats always performed with flashy bass lines and rockabilly tempos
Happy Tuesday,
Cheers
I’m in yet another metal episode of mine.
However, I mostly stick to Black Sabbath right now, I just love the sound. My favorites are Sabbra Cadabra and of course N.I.B.
If you haven’t seen this movie, it is incredible. The soundtrack alone is worth the watch. To be honest, I actually like some of their covers more than the original songs. This whole album is absolutely fantastic.
Personal favorite is their cover of “Try A Little Tenderness”.
We can’t travel in that shit heap.
Buddy Holly’s last words.
Babymetal dropped a new song today, and this one’s a banger. New sound, new rhythm, completely new tone from Su, and Tom goes ham.
First song since Momoko joined the band, and rumor is she did the speaking part.
New from G-Spin. Start the day with a little F-Chopper
Looks like yet another new drummer. Everyone else is there though. Hana’s maybe taking over singing again?
They are so good. I mean F-Chopper and Tomo-zo stand out but they are all just really talented musicians.
The new release of Stop Making Sense on 2xLPs, with no songs cut from the movie like the original release.
As expected, just excellent.
Ok that was way better than I expected
Oh, if you haven’t seen the movie, the visuals! The dancing! Will. Blow. Your. Mind!
