not too impressed with some of the audience. they look like they’re at a lecturer on how many angels fit on the head of a pin!
Agree. I was laughing almost the entire time in awe of what both were doing. And these blokes just stood there with straight face. I think that they are the percussionists crowd and felt left out. ![]()
Absolutely! Fantastic music and it seems the further back in the crowd you were the more you got into it! ![]()
I’m always in awe of people that can tweak the controls without losing the rhythm. I try and do that and I’m lost!
If Radiohead, Fugazi, and Modest Mouse had an orgy and created a musical love child it would be Squid.
And they are from Brighton - my favourite city in the UK, where I spent one happy/crazy year!
Hugh Laurie (yes, that Hugh Laurie) - St James Infirmary.
He’s a musical tspent with obvious passion for his art. His albums are packed with a New Orleans flavour of jazz & blues that is astounding if you only eve knew him as Dr.House, Bertie Wooster, or the captain in the at terrible sci-fi show.
Don’t forget his role in the phantastic “Blackadder”!!!

I kind of get some talking heads vibes too. Fun band!
Wouldn’t life be boring if we didn’t learn something new every day? Something of a multi-talented man!
Se him live at Town Hall in NYC. One of the best shows and best bands I’ve ever seen. So mad he doesn’t still tour/record.
WOAH! Those basslines are tasty!
He could’ve had a full career as a musician. Then again, it’s not something that goes away so perhaps when he’s off the acting for a while…
