sade can’t do much wrong in my book. and she’s amazing live, saw her on her last tour. soldier of love should have been much bigger than it ultimately was. and it still makes me sad when i hear amy.
Haha, no, I was just being honest! I do have big holes in popular music knowledge. There was a time where I shunned everything that was heavily on rotation, just because…
That said, yes, I have of course heard that song (many times); but I really didn’t know it by name when @fennario mentioned it.
I guess I must have seen “Wild at Heart”, but it probably didn’t make a huge dent, and I am pretty sure I haven’t seen it in the last 25 years or so - sorry!
I am trying to accept my flaws
GO SEE IT - NOW!!!
Another one @howard might dig if he hasn’t heard these folks. I saw them live here in Denver last year. Great show.
I haven’t seen Wild at Heart either, so you’ve got company
Dang that is a nice voice there as well. Yea you know what I mean…something about the voice.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
Now you have homework.
Good grief!
Homework for you too!
We understand each other
No, really - it is “required viewing”, even if you don’t like Lynch or Cage…
Bonus: the “seduction” and the death scenes of Boby Peru (Willem Dafoe)
Quite late to the party but recently got exposed to Clutch: https://youtu.be/53qeiAVjHQU?si=PAe5QobexgVhag__
WOAH.
Been hitting Bell Witch lately. Stoner/doom band with no guitarists, only drums, bass and vocals. Granted LOTS of effects are used on the bass. This is an 84 minute piece they did after one of the original members died.
Listening to quite “uncool” music currently, but I like it … a lot!

Day one of a big weekend for live music for me. We heard the Cleveland orchestra play Brahms fourth symphony. No electric bass, but 8 upright bass players performed.
