Something nice from my side of the globe
I’ve not heard of them before, I still really like that early 90s rave sound.
Pragha Khan was behind a surprisingly large number of bands making that kind of music back then.
It’s kind of nuts actually. These are his bands:
If you ever saw techno in a movie, it was likely him as well. Most famously, the club scene in Basic Instinct.
It was for the singer of Bad Brains to help with medical bills
oh I know, and very cool intentions. so well done on that.
original is better lol
yep. they were the Beatles of hardcore punk, the archetype, the blueprint. then HR went a little… off. and they went from being the greatest band in history to just the saddest one.
Speaking of, MC5 made it into the rock hall of fame.
The reggae bend was… not punk.
newest st. vincent song, album comes out on friday. this is a really good song, with a great bassline (pretty sure it’s JMJ, he’s been doing most of her stuff lately).
Wow… the bass fills the space so well and the lines aren’t overdone either!
Easy add to my Spotify lol
Anybody else a fan of Rich Brown’s The Brown’stone instructional videos on Youtube?
I really dig his teaching style and general demeanor. So chill.
Anyway just ran across this song, some excellent bass face here.
From the drummer even!
