What are you listening to right now?

Anyone else like Chromeo?

They shared this cool little tune breakdown on Instagram. Lot of slap bass in their stuff and I’m always into 80s synth sounds. Hope the insta link works:

(Here’s the whole tune but I actually prefer it without vocals:)

Cool to see Toyah after so many years. Loved her version of “Echo Beach”!

Just discovered the English band “Big Special” and this is exactly what I need!
Apparently this is “black country punk”.
The fact that I like this music shows that playing bass affects my musical taste - I wouldn’t have listened to this a few months ago.

Love it!!!

Fallen in love recently with German band ASP, self described Gothic Novel Rock.

Krabat:

And also Letzte Instanz.

Mein Leben:

And on the English side, no idea how I managed to miss these guys for so long but Five Finger Death Punch.

Little Bit Off - my favourite song atm, warning, explicit lyrics::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Somehow this song is stuck in my head for the past 3 days…
Might give it a go on the bass…

Happy Mother’s Day

I never knew that song was by the Kinks! They’re one of the bands that soundtracked my childhood.

Newbie here and following the fantastic Beginner to Badass course!

Yesterday, for the first time, I listened Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder and I watched a bass tab video about it: I was looking my bass when bass looked me with desolation.

Poppy goes even more metal-er
