When a thunder cell hits in the middle of a set

I really like the new costumes this year fwiw.

Also it’s really cool to count Tim Hensen and Scott LePage as friends

This video is a first, and I hope part of the new Babymetal. Su’s voice is not corrected in post; it shakes a few times which they always glossed over in videos, but how can you help it with the dancing. I like this direction. You go see them, you get live vocals, with flaws. Nice to see them show it in a video.

Also Tim Hensen an 8 string? Tim said this week that Babymetal will guest on the next Polyphia and that’s cool.

Babymetal have become a daily band here at home. Daughters(7-10) love them… and are starting to sing.

Besides that… Dad listens to several “bass powered” lists on spotify… this one being the most common:

Also Nevrness:

Kiyoshi!! That’s her! Thanks @howard I found her by accident once, but couldn’t trace back history as I was logged out.

He’s not only a great bass player … he’s also a nice and interesting person.

Have you seen this?

When you are cool enough to be a metal band with a violinist you automatically get permission to make songs about your favorite videogames.

Have you ever listened to Ne Obliviscaris? It might be more proggy than you like, but they’ve got a prominent violin in metal.

3255

Nope! Will have to check them out.

Ok it’s pretty proggy for me

I do like it though, but the doses will have to be measured.

Yeah I thought so. Some of their stuff is so over the top it’s campy, but some of it is really cool.

The algorithm thinks I want to see everything Mina puts out, and this is the rare time the algorithm is right!

Today my Youtube suggested: Nightwish, Opera IX, Epica, Floor Jansen(Nightwish, ReVamp and After Forever)

In the meantime, nearly vomited with most of Rock in Rio Lisboa performers today… but Portugal had Turkey for dinner and ending the day with: 3 lessons of B2B module 2. (Started 2 days ago… wanted to take it slow… but @JoshFossgreen keeps pushing me!)
