Drop a?

5-string Drop A is fine, I thought it was trying to say that was standard tuning tuned up to those values, and was like “nope”.
The tab was still wrong (it wedged a 5-string line on to a 4-string tab, which will mess up anything that goes up to the G string) but whatever, just BEAD it and go Drop A if you want to play it.
Currently, the Babymetal bassist plays a 4 string. Oddly. Miss Bohte Daisuke, but when they broke up on 2021 the original kami scattered to the winds.

That’s fine but if he is really playing that tuning it’s BEAD tuned down to drop A, which is something for @Megatronpt to keep in mind - those tabs cannot be used as is with a standard tuned bass.
I’m as rabid a Babymetal fan as there is, but one reason I have not attempted a cover is their tunings are all over the place. Drop C, Drop A, Drop D, BEAD, EADG, for studio work it changes song to song. And live is completely different. I will try and peel the onion some day

I am not going there yet… was just trying to do something fun for the kids… but didn’t feel like downtuning my bass just for a 5-10 min play around.
Maybe when I buy next bass…
