F-Chopper is still a force of nature. So is Tomo-zo.
…and then there is Live and Let Die
One of my favorites by Paul & Wings:
I stumbled over your remark yesterday and asked myself if that could happen to me. At first I was like “hahahaha”, but I could not dismiss the thought.
Reason: I am working on a song currently that sounds great when I listen to the original track …and dull when I play it.
I really didn’t get it. Why?
Could it be that I too suffer from @saroohoo syndrom?
So, I listened again. Headphones on, bass in another room. Just listening, not being preoccupied with playing.
And yes: the bass line is completely different from what I play (and heared before). WTF?
Now I’m relearning the song - and it already sounds much better…
Thanks - you solved a puzzle that kept me busy for quite some time now!
Love Kanonenfieber. I know it’s always controversial when you have Germans singing about war, people are very quick to throw them in with the extreme right, but the founder, Noise, seems to have a good and clear head on his shoulders.
Sometimes it can be really great:
It’s based on “Flandern in Not”, which was instrumentalized by the Nazis, unfortunately.
Thgis song was again based on " Vlaamse dodendans", written by L. van de Lende, a Dutch guy, in 1916. It’s about the battle of Flanders and incorporates motifs of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse … so it’s not te be taken lightly!
Glad it helped you … not sure how I feel about messing up an interpretation being named after me
F#cking Georges Gilles de la Tourette had the same d@mn problem
Is that song detuned? It sure sounds like it but when I went to look at tab I don’t believe the version I found was…
You have to ask @saroohoo!
In my case I was playing 1/16ths as 1/8ths in some bars, which gave the hole song a dull & non-snappy feelings.
I played it: 1/8th 1/8th 1/8th, which sounds like meeh meeh meeh
And should have played: 1/16th 1/16th 1/8th
That’s the problem if you only look at tabs, not at scores (like me). And your ear hears what it wants to hear (the easy version).
It really bothered me for quite some time now, but now it’s solved, yay!
Stupid me
That’s not a Hole song it’s a Nirvana song
Nope! Something COMPLETELY different … stay tuned for a cover
LeRoy Jenkins. Captain of the Destroyer USS Kidd and decorated war hero. Immortalized in Wows by a streamer, now a meme.
Could be worse @saroohoo
Songs about immortal @saroohoo will be sung at camp fires in a post apocaplytic wasteland, many hundred years from now. And it all started here at BassBuzz
Les Claypool could do it justice.
Hahaha! Yeah, like this:
Ok I’m on board with this
