I was a big fan of Ronnie Montrose. He put on some great concerts.
On the off chance there are any other folk punk fans in here, Pat the Bunny released an album back in February after a 9 year hiatus. Definitely a modern take on his music, but I love it.
Bit of a Neil Young vibe.
Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs.
Ms. Monet, the back up singer, brings this song so alive…
Greg’s been at it for a long time. This is a great cover from the way-back machine!
While Ms. Monet’s sidekick has the stage presence of a 2x4.
Great topic! I’m also one to skip ahead and discover music outside of Fridays. That song you’re sharing has a good vibe, and I can totally see why you’d pick it for your next cover. I’ve been listening to some slower tracks to match the mood, but sometimes a good laugh can help lift things. If you’re in need of some humor, I came across a funny collection of jokes here:allfunnyjokes.com/. Keep up the awesome work on your covers!
LLM?
Awesome song. That album gets a bad rap (and is not their high point) but both Tin Omen and Worlock are fantastic.
The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste is in my desert island albums list.
It’s kind of a toss up for me between Mind and land of rape and honey. Imo, they’re both the right answer.
Yeah, Land… is right up there but Mind beats it out by a hair. Probably because Mind was my first Ministry album (Land was my second).
