Non of us would care buddy
It’s empowering I must admit
I can only imagine. To quote Mel Gibson in Braveheart (again): “Freeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddoooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm!”
EDIT: They should create a pattern that is allowed for non-Scots! I would get a kilt IMMEDIATELY!!!
You can get leather ones and all sorts now. So not all of them are actually tartan.
Hahaha! My fetish days are over!
No I would like something that looks original. Maybe with an subtle orange thread woven in
I wonder if your Dutch origins would allow you to wear the Stuart tartan. They say that the English can wear the Stuart as it’s the tartan of the King, and since they have William and Mary in their ancestry maybe that would cover you?
[We’re in danger of getting our knuckles rapped for thread drift here! ]
Eewww! It’s like drinking mud, I’m a purist when it comes to espresso. I’d drink black coffee all day if my doctor didn’t strongly insist that I put cream in my coffee to protect my tummy, drinking a pot of coffee a day can be really bad for your tummy,
No, I don’t want to be affiliated with the British when ist comes to Scottish cultural matters.
Also, since Willem Alexander became our king, I don’t want to be affiliated with Dutch royalty. I went to university with him - he is a [CENSORED]!
Sadly I don’t get to that area very often I’m usually flying past on the A9!
I like my coffee VERY strong and also have issues with my “tummy”. But there is a trick: drink something with a little natron before and after. That really helps!
Now I can drink unlimited amounts of strong coffee until my fingers reach 180BPM all by themselves!
The one good thing about strong coffee is that they have lower sometimes much lower caffeine level so you can enjoy more before you get the redbull effects. The dishwater breakfast blends now that’s get you there fast.

Good that you call it that yourself. I always had to laugh at what was called “coffee” in the US. It really tastes like dishwater.
Even the water in the drip tray of my coffee machine should taste better ^^
As I can’t stand coffee when I want the Redbull effect, eg. for long distance driving, I use proplus caffeine tablets. I’ve yet to find a caffeine drink that tastes good to me!
Much has to do with the chocolate drink and instant coffee. No ones read the instructions they just put a cup full of hot water and 2 teaspoons of coffee. Same goes to the drips machine people usually pus half or less than what requires to brew in a pot. It’s not the coffee but how we brew it.
Since my new my new machine can produce the Aussie Flat white, I’ve been drinking a lot of that. Love it.
Wow. Your bar looks awesome @ros0754 and so does your kilt! Love it!
And I never had a Tiki drink @mr.crispy. That sounds very exciting.
I am a rum lover. At the moment I have this one at home:
(Marama Spiced Fijian Rum)
But I very much prefer the Dictador:

It’s not the coffee but how we brew it.
Yeah - we have a similar saying in Holland, but that is about “physical love” ^^

As I can’t stand coffee
I didn’t drink coffee until a few years ago, when I visited wonderful Cuba. There I drank the 2nd coffee in my life … and I was immidately hooked! It was GREAT!
I took as much coffee back as I could without going to prison, and I spent a few a months finding a good rooster in Germany.
Now I have that, and a good coffee machine - couldn’t be happier.
The coffee is not as great as in Cuba, but I sweeten the deal with lots of caramel.
Pity that Cuba has put that unfair embargo on the US, so they cannot enjoy the pleasure of cuban products…
PS the secret of driving long distance is simple: always try to be faster than 220km/h. The adrenaline keeps you awake!
I don’t do beer or spirits as they are alcoholic beverages I do lots of wines as they are list on a PnL report as “Food” lol.
My last 2 years of college I had wine with every meal paring with the meal not a lot just about half a cup for the experience of having wine with food. I love them all especially Italian, California and south of France regions.

Can’t do that in France and certainly not in the UK.
However I drive very relaxed (been doing long distance driving forever) and manage to do the drive to Chamonix from mid Wales non stop apart from the ferry. Takes about 15 hours including the ferry. And almost never resort to caffeine.
