Splitting my time between bass and GuitarBuzz so learning songs has slowed a bit, but here’s what I’m currently working on:
- Lustra - Scotty Doesn’t Know
- L7 - Pretend We’re Dead
- Tragically Hip - Blow at High Dough
Of the three, Scotty Doesn’t Know is the closest to being ready.

Blow at High Dough is a fun one… used to do that one and New Orleans is Sinking in the road band… The Hip is always fun to play

That bass intro for Grace, too is EPIC … and not that hard actually couple tricky spots in it … but manageable. Such a wikkid good song

I get that it’s easy. I think many country bass players don’t get the credit they deserve. They are fire players.
Maybe the difference is I’m on my deck in the open air playing what I want to play- yet I hold true to form-i love bass.
