It wasn’t Deadpool violence but it was done very well I thought.
+1 for Deadpool. Haven’t seen the latest movie though…
I thoroughly enjoyed Gangs Of London!
I did not know Vikings: Valhalla season 3 was out until the beginning of the week. We just finished it tonight, it was very good! I googled season 4 and was saddened to find out that season 3 is the last. Dang it Netflix, you can do better!
We just started Time Bandits on Apple TV+ this week. That show is hilarious. They did a really good job of capturing the sense of humour of the movie.
Just started watching a sitcom, Schitts Creek. HILARIOUS!
Just rewatching Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, based on Douglas Adams’s books.
Absolutely great!
That’s one of my favourites
I also just finished re-watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I find it so funny and sharply written.
Shitt’s Creek is outstanding!
I LOVE THAT SHOW!
Since I’m home alone, I rewatched Deadpool 2 and then Deadpool 1.
If you are still in the mood for unconventional super hero movies: watch “Kick Ass”.
(And I assume that you already watched the highly recommended series “The Boys”??!)
I did watch Kickass and it was decent and oh yes, The Boys have all been watched. Amazing show, though you can tell it’s winding down a bit.
Today I think I will rewatch Watchmen, I really love that movie!
Basically a better take on the premise of The Boys, especially the original Moore graphic novel
Yeah that is on my comic book bucket list.
I’ve read The Boys comic though and it’s decent enough how they did the series. I like most Garth Ennis works and always happy to revisit. Except for Crossed. That comic is so messed up, I struggle to even comprehend the madness in his brain when it get dark. Messed up stuff for sure.
I’ve actually only read the comic; the movie I have just seen snippets on Youtube. The book is outstanding.
There is a great version of “The Boys” on Graphic Audio, it’s like a movie in your mind! The Boys - A-E - Series - Our Productions (graphicaudio.net)
Just finished a huge binge of Big Bang Theory. Turned out I never really saw seasons 8-12. Apparently it’s the longest running sit com in American history. It never stopped being hysterical. Really great.
Sadly, I cannot carry that enthusiasm for Young Sheldon - Jim Parsons narration is the next part of it.
I watched BBT several times and it’s still great. I also tried Young Sheldon, haven’t been able to get through the first season. Something just doesn’t click for me.
My girlfriend is also rewatching Big Bang Theory and I distract myself with it also sometimes.
Love early Penny and Jim Parsons is getting better with every season.
