Awesome, I’ll have to see those on opening day at the moving picture place!
I don’t know if any one is still watching “The Walking Dead” I can’t help it, the show jumped the shark a long time ago. Daryl Dixon, The Book Of Carol season 2 started today.
The missus and me stayed through it all. Gotta admit I’m still sad it ended, tbh. Sure the quality was not the same as the first 5 seasons, but we really enjoyed the setting.
We are now out of the house for a few weeks, as our stairs are being redone, again…so Darryl will have to wait. I look forward to more Negan and Maggie mostly though.
Tragically hip: no dress rehearsal. It was a trip down memory lane for me and I’m sure many other Canadians.
If you have prime and want to know about the biggest Canadian band that never made it big in the States (but somehow Nickelback did) check it out.
Just watched “Deadpool & Wolverine”. What a boring movie! The original Deadpool was good, I can’t remember the 2nd one, so that must have been soso.
And this one is just bad. Poor Hugh Jackman, such a great actor (and singer!) to have played a role in this.
I’m pretty sure that Ryan Reynolds threatened Jackman with publishing a sex tape, otherwise I can’t understand his participation in this “movie”…
I’ll have to watch it on a dodgy Chinese streaming site then.
Maybe it’s better in chinese??!
Wo bu zhidao.
I think we can agree the true villain of the story was the scriptwriter
I’m not a huge anime guy but these are just great, great music too. and the other main series he does (chubby mermaid) is just as good. pretend it’s tv BTW.
Whoop, 3 new episodes of Vox Machina just landed. Love that show!
Just finished a full run of The Sopranos again.
So good.
Makes you hungry watching though…
That’s a lot of baked zitis.
“There’s chicken parm in the fridge, Tony.”
I think Twin Peaks caused me to gain 10 pounds…
This weekend I watched 4 documentaries about artists and “artists”:
Lemmy
Taylor Swift - Miss Americana
Kathleen Hanna - The Punk Singer
Dua Lipa - Elevating
So, two of them were about authentic and truthful singers, that live and breath what they sing. Their performance was raw power, and there was a complete absence of artificiality. I was thoroughly impressed!
One of them is considered a d#ck by some, but I really can not confirm this. Nobody’s perfect, after all. The other sings “Don’t need your d#ck to f#ck! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah”
The other two were about artificial marketing enterprises with algorithm fed “songs” and glittering image. One of them even is the 8th best guitarist in the world (google it!) and bigger than the Beatles (google it!).
I was not so impressed, sorry!
If you want to have the whole schizophrenic experience I had: watch all four documentaries in one binge watching orgy (also in the order above).
It will be a rollercoaster!
It’s where pies go to die.
Get ready.
She’s Poppy.
And now she has a variety show…
Resident Alien is the same, makes me want pie
