To add, when your studio monitors arrive this setup can also just allow the DAI/DAW to be the monitors instead of the amp and you will be pleasantly surprised with how good it sounds!

The DAI is already connected to my little Bose speakers. The monitors that are on their way will just sound better.

The only difference would be you could do it without the amp involved at all.

I bought a BDI months ago after a chat with @T_dub and it’s still in the box.
For a little while now I have had issues reading instructions so that’s where it will sit
until I either finally grasp it or it’s explained to me in simple terms.

We can get you youtube videos that show you how to use it, like what settings to use to get which sounds.
I know there is one or two that does just that, I will have to dig one up, or rely on @howard to find one, or somebody else.

This is the new setup. The addition you see in the photo is the Wine Cellar DI pedal. What’s not there are my puny little Bose speakers I had been using; in their place are the PreSonus Eris E3.5 2-Way 3.5" Active Studio Monitors that I received today (not in photo).
Everything is splendid now.
