I saw it I really don’t think I could live with that paint job
.
Although having said that it is a teambuilt model………… nope can’t get past the paint
Yep, bit lairy!
I kind of like the paint job, if it were not for the lion and warrior.
IDK, I could still probably do it, if it were a corvette or that other shape I like that is like a corvette, but has the cut out below the bridge.
Infinity? @T_dub
thats the one. I think I like it best of any of the Warwick’s
The paint job itself is awesome. The lion and the dude make it look like you would find it in a pawnshop next to the velvet blacklight poker-dogs poster.
Well, good for you @Wombat-metal . . .
NO, you’re not a sucker . . . and YES this Covid crap has us all a little stir crazy! That is a really beautiful-looking bass and all I can say is that if you really like it, and it feels as good to you as it looks, (and especially since you aren’t taking food out of anyone’s mouth to get it ) then GO for it!
We all need to have something that we enjoy doing, collecting, and dreaming about.
Looks to me as if you just might have found your dream bass!
Cheers
Joe
One of my 3 remaining unicorns has popped up.
Was hoping for a longer gap.
Also hoping no one else cares about it.
Sigh…
it’s missing the pickguard, but that is easily rectified as I already have the template created at WD.
Let me know when you find the sunburst one, I quite like that (If I were in the market for another bass)
Do want… It would be my first Dingwall and fanned fret bass. I’ve tried the later and love it!
Can’t wait to have both. Maybe next year.
If only I hit the Lotto
Why are these guys not listing these locally? Oh well, not like I would drop $3k on one either.
Gassing for the blue one
yeah it’s a looker
That’s a nice one!
Wow, I totally love it. Double humbucker (my favorite), with an unusual Stream-like shape. Great headstock. Looks awesome. Bonus that it’s the signature for one of my favorite bassists and big influences - behind Peter Hook, Gallup is probably my next biggest bass hero.
I’ve got a question for everyone…once again, I’m looking to buy a bass under $220 and I have a few choices on eBay, including a Peavey Milestone:
Peavey Milestone IV International Series 4-String Right Handed Bass - BLUE | eBay
a Cort Slammer, which the bidding is done today
1980s 1990s Cort Slammer Bass short scale, SIlver burst- Nice shape Vintage | eBay
another Peavey Milestone 4 but in a different color
Peavey Milestone 4 Ivory 4 String Bass Guitar | eBay
OR I can get a Jackson Spectra JS2 for $199.99 or a Bronco for $209.99, both of which have free shipping and are new. Any opinions?
