I felt the same way. I shopped at GC 3 days before BF. There was J bass from $859 for $759. Black Friday deal? On Black Friday they announced the same bass from $899 for $799. Tried to use the 15% they send me and of course it didn’t qualify. The deal was better Black Friday

I love JBL. They make really good stuff at a decent price. That is exactly the type of PA I would get if I were looking. Power rating and speaker size are perfect; I would want a pair.
That said the price seems pretty normal to me? Compare to a DBR12:

Don’t let the total wattage fool you, the DBR has a more sensible split (800/200 vs 750/750). They end up rated for 135db SPL JBL vs 131 (Yamaha).
